What is Acupuncture?

Our practice makes use of sterile needles that are extremely fine as to reduce discomfort to our patients. Our training and over 30 years of combined experience in the areas of human anatomy and meridians of your body enable us to treat a multitude of conditions.

Salazar Acupuncture is one of the few providers on the east coast which can utilize Acupuncture as an effective method of treating and reducing the progression of Macular Degeneration. This unique procedure targets specific acupuncture points that can alleviate many symptoms for our patients. Our patients have shown a dramatic reduction in the progression of their optical disease, and in rare cases, studies have shown even a reversal of the negative effects caused by Macular Degeneration. This is particularly noteworthy as no traditional treatments for the disease currently exist.

Our Acupuncture Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5+. We accept all major credit cards, HSA/FSA accounts, VA insurance, check and cash. Superbills available upon request for reimbursement from insurance carriers.
Paul is our clinic's first line of defense for everything acupuncture! He is our pain management specialist and senior acupuncturist. He also welcomes all our VA insurance patients.

Paul offers this protocol for those wishing to halt the progression of macular degeneration. This protocol does require diligence and follow-up sessions should be maintained.
