Paul Salazar has been working and studying acupuncture for over ten years. He is currently a licensed acupuncturist and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine (NM.). He came to practice acupuncture after being cured of chronic shoulder pain that would have required surgery. From then on, he has dedicated himself to healing others who deal with aches and pains that keep them from fully leading a comfortable, active lifestyle.

Over the years Paul has studied many different styles of acupuncture. These include Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Toyahari, Tan and Tang Balance and more. With these skills Paul has been able to successfully help many with muscular skeletal issues from minor sprains to issues that have lasted decades. He has also learned acupuncture protocols to help maintain vision when dealing with Macular Degeneration (Wet and Dry) and is one of the few acupuncturists that offer this in New England.

Paul moved to Cape Cod three years ago and began practice in the office of the late Robert Raylove. He works hard and strives to practice with compassion and understanding. He and his family have embraced the Cape Community and take pride in calling this place home.

When not working Paul enjoys time with his wife and two children. He is obsessed with the culinary arts and passionate about food ingredients.

Deb always knew she would enter the medical field. After years of trialing and narrowing down her options, she entered the field of Chinese Medicine and graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in New Mexico. Deb is a Licensed Acupuncturist (MA & NM) and Doctor of Oriental Medicine (NM). After moving from New Mexico, she and her family joined the Cape Cod community in 2013, where she began and continues her practice at Acupuncture & Herbs on 6A in West Barnstable.

In clinic, Deb focuses her attention toward chronic, recurrent and recalcitrant disease. She works with her patients to investigate and uncover the root of each illness. With a supportive and patient nature, she enjoys teaching her patients and sharing her knowledge base. She is creative, thorough and effective in her treatment, and often successful where other medicines have failed. Besides the traditional tools of acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, moxa, herbs and bodywork, she also incorporates the principles of Ayurvedic Medicine, Spiritual Nutrition, Western Herbalism, Homeopathy and Essential Oils. In addition, she has studied Naturopathic Medicine and vegan and live food nutrition with world-renowned leader Gabriel Cousens.

Currently, she is investigating an evolved system of healing called Human Design. She also loves The Law of Attraction, enjoys gardening and time with nature, wild animals and family. She practices yoga and qigong and is a teacher of Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.

Deb is available in clinic on Wednesdays and Fridays for 90 minute sessions. She can also be found at The Herb Store helping Cape Cod residents with herb and supplement advice.

Heather, a true Entrepreneur at heart, has a passion for many modalities in the wellness forum. She is a Reiki II Practitioner and a certified holistic nutritional coach by trade but truly just loves the art of evolutional healing.

In addition to being our Creative Director since early 2023 she works as a Realtor with William Raveis, Osterville.  Previously she has excelled in many other positions including co- owning a local juice and smoothie bar, Life Insurance Sales, Direct Marketing, and numerous positions in the hospitality industry gaining valuable sales, leadership and negotiation skills.

Heather values her role in her community as a "born and raised Cape Codder." Growing up in Barnstable County she loves taking part in community events and has been an active board member with various non-profits as well a strong advocate for East Coast Canine Rescue.  "Bring me all the sad dogs!" ~Heather, although she enjoys real estate, rescue dogs, helping others through connection and the wellness world are what she lives for. In her free time, you can find her enjoying something in or around the ocean, the gym or fitness class or hanging with her pups Zeke and Ozzy.
